Our 3 Crazy Crazy Crazy Girls are back : the 3rd Season (13 episodes) of the COMEDY series “Bad Karma” (40 x 30’) will launch next fall in PRIME-TIME…

The series is a big success on Radio-Canada : 25% of the viewers watched in average Season 1. “Bad Karma » (40 x 30’) is written by Isabelle Langlois and produced by Sphère (« Sophie », « Les hauts et les bas de Sophie Paquin »,..)

“Bad Karma” (40 x 30’) received an AWARD for BEST COMEDY SCRIPT at the last Gemini Awards. The successful comedy series received also a nomination at the TV Fiction Festival in La Rochelle, in the Best International Fiction category.

“Bad Karma » (27 x 30’), is available as “ready made” (to be dubbed/subtitled) or as “Scripted format” (= remake).

Season 6 of TTH sold to VTM (Belgium) !

CRAZY COW has inked a licence agreement with VTM (largest comercial Tv station in Belgium), which has acquired the rights to Season 6 of “Take this house & sell it”.

The program will launch in February in Belgium.

“SOPHIE” now broadcast in Russia and in the Benelux

The Canadian series “Sophie” (32 x 30) is now broadcast on the Russian channel Foxlife, and also on Fox in teh Benelux.

Adapted from the popular Francophone series Les hauts et les bas de Sophie Paquin, which Radio-Canada has been carrying for two years, “Sophie” is also broadcast on CBC (Canada) and ABC Family (US).The series was then described as a comedy-drama in which a pregnant businesswoman is having a particularly tough year. As she looks for a break, Sophie, played by actor Natalie Brown of Timmins, Ontario, has no choice but to reach out to friends and relatives who – unfortunately for her – are a largely dysfunctional and neurotic group of people.-“SOPHIE” (32 x 30′ /Canada), is now broadcast on FOXLIFE Russia (see : ) and is also broadcast on FOXLIFE in the Benelux (see : ).

Season 2 of MIRADOR (20 x 50′) will launch in Canada on September 13th in prime-time

Radio-Canada has just announced that the 2nd season of “Mirador”(20 x 50’) will launch on September 13th in prime-time.

“Mirador” is a major public relations firm which employs a small army of PR people to make sure the only truth that ever becomes public is their clients’ truth. Each episode revolves around a scandal. Philippe and his team are given the difficult task of restoring a client’s tarnished image (as in the Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s case), using the entire arsenal at a modern PR firm’s.

“Mirador” is a big success on Radio-Canada : 1 million viewers (in a market of only 6 million people ! /French-speaking Canada) watched in average Season 1. “Mirador” (20 x 50’) is written by Daniel Thibeault/Isabelle Pelletier and produced by Sphère (« Sophie », « Les hauts et les bas de Sophie Paquin »,..)

With this 2nd season of “Mirador” : we have 20 episodes/scripts of 50 min available., while the network has already commissioned a third Season.

Belgian police series CITY DISTRICT nominated for Monte Carlo Tv Fest

The Belgian police series CITY DISTRICT (78 x 50′) has been nominated for the 49th Monte Carlo Festival taking place from 7-11 June 2009.

Christian Vervaet, Lies Lahousse and Philippe Bonamie have received nominations in the Outstanding International Producer (Drama) and Outstanding European Producer (Drama) categories. For Outstanding Actor (Drama) , Guy Van Sande and Peter Van Asbroeck are up for the award, while Lien Van de Kelder and Katrien Vandendries are nominated in the Outstanding Actress Category.

The Belgian channel broadcasting CITY DISTRICT (VTM) has just commissionned 2 new seasons. Shooting of Season 5 will start in June in Antwerp.
