CRAZY COW inks worldwide distribution deal for the TV series “If you scratch my back I’ll scratch yours”

CRAZY COW and Fobic Films announced today that they have inked a deal for the worldwide distribution of the TV series “If you scratch my back I’ll scratch yours” (6 x 50′).

Logline : Four teenagers are sentenced to performing community service at a rest home. Quite a shock, not only to them but also to the residents. Two worlds collide: deep and less deep-rooted standards and values on both sides are thoroughly put to the test. But then dark, ominous clouds start packing above the rest home. Only a radical action can avert catastrophe. But for that, the elderly will need the help of the young…

This tv series is about the endless confrontation between young and old, between the future and the past, life and death but we put this timeless theme in a modern setting: the banking crisis. Still we want to bring a positive story about generations, how they connect and what makes them grow towards each other. VWHW is still a comedy drama but with an original end ‘bigger than life’.

CRAZY COW will be at MIP TV in Cannes from Monay April 8th until Thursday April 11th. The Belgian distribution company will meet broadcasters and production companies to discuss partnerschips on a variety of content.

CRAZY COW sells 78 episodes of the Canadian show “Take this house and sell it”

CRAZY COW is proud to announce that it has sold 78 episodes of the Canadian show “Take this house and sell it” (W Network / Up Front) to the largest private Belgian channel. This deal follows a previous deal of 76 episodes : all episodes are now licensed !

In each episode of “Take This House and Sell It” a designer is chosen to visit a family or couple’s home that is having trouble selling. He or she makes comments before meeting with the home owners. Once meeting with the homeowners, the designer humorously criticizes the home owner’s home and then dispatches their crew, which includes a painter, a contractor, a handyman and seamstress, and in less than 2 days prepare for a “last chance open house”. The designer and crew work hard to give the homeowner’s home a good impression in order to get a sale. The show then reveals if the homeowener sold their house or not
