CRAZY COW at Mip TV in Cannes

CRAZY COW will be at MIP TV in Cannes from Sunday April 1st until Wednesday April 4th. The Belgian distribution company will meet broadcasters and production companies to discuss partnerschips on a variety of content.

Season 7 of “COPS MAASTRICHT” (63 x 50′) is coming / Great success in Belgium, the Netherlands and on Berlusconi’s Mediaset

While Season 6 of the police series « Cops Maastricht » (63 x 50’/ Finished Program OR Scripted Format) is now broadcast IN FRONT of the hit format « THE VOICE » (from Talpa’s John de Mol / format sold to more than 30 countries, including BBC, TF1 (France), NBC (USA),…) the Dutch network NEDERLAND 1 has now commissionned a 7h Season : 10 new episodes will be available soon.

« Cops Maastricht » (63 x 50’ /produced by Eyeworks) is the MOST SUCCESSFUL series in the Netherlands. In 2010, the series was moved into the most competitive timeslot of the entire week, Friday night 8:30, but « Cops Maastricht » (63 x 50’) won every single week, beating « X Factor » (RTL4) and « Stricly come Dancing » (SBS6).

« Cops Maastricht » (63 x 50’ / or 73 x 50’ with the 10 new episodes) is also broadcast in the Middle East, in Belgium (VRT) and in Italy on Berlusconi’s Mediaset (Italian title = Flikken – Coppia in giallo)..

WOMEN’s DAY (March 8th) / Sisters de Wit (37 x 50′) – Women like it (more than 30% SHR on women 20-34!) …and advertisers also !

« Sisters De Wit » (37 x 50’ /produced by Eyeworks & broadcast on NET5) is drama series following the young and beautiful sisters De Wit, who manage to conquer a high place in the dairy industry – in their very own, very feminine but powerful way. They are, so to speak, the Dutch Charlie’s Angels!

While the average market share of NET5 is 5,3%, « Sisters De Wit » (37 x 50’) is able to reach :
31,8 % on the target Women 20-49 years old (vs 5,3% for NET5)
21,4 % on the target Upper Classes 20-49 years old (vs 5,3% for NET5)
22,4 % on the target Principal Buyers 20-49 years old (vs 5,3% for NET5)

And don’t forget : it’s a very interesting Series for advertisers : « Sisters De Wit » (37 x 50’) is the Series Unilever, Kraft Jacobs, Danone, Nestlé,… need to sell their milk products (yoghurt, cheese, milk or ice cream).

Shooting of the 4th Season of the series “MPU -Missing Persons Unit” (Written By US writer MATT WITTEN) has started !

The shooting of the 4th Season (10 episodes) of the Belgian police series « MPU-Missing Persons Unit » (about a team looking for missing persons / 1 x 90′ + 39 x 50′), has now started in Belgium, until the end of the year.

The network (VT4) has already also commissionned a 5th Season (10 episodes)

The police series is like an AMERICAN SERIES (it’s developped by US Script Editor MATT WITTEN) and is a BIG SUCCESS on VT4.
As of today, the series is sold to more than 90 countries (France, Germany, Russia, Canada, Latin America, Middle East,..) !!!

Superb cast, well written scripts as well as well written characters, and a great direction : “MPU-Missing Persons Unit’ is as good as an American series, but with a European touch !
