CRAZY COW inks distribution deal with Spanish company Conta Conta

CRAZY COW has just inked a deal with the Spanish production company Conta Conta.

The Belgian distribution company will  present in exclusivity the humor shows “Crossworlds” (63 x 25′) and “Evolution” (52 x 20′). These two shows have aired with great succes in the prime-time of the first channel of the Valencian public television for three years.

CRAZY COW is delighted to launch these series in many countries !

MPU sold to the Middle East / First Belgian police series EVER sold to Arabic countries !

CRAZY COW has inked a distribution agreement with Sabbah Media, which has acquired the rights to “MPU-Missing Persons Unit” (original Belgian title = “Vermist), the EYEWORKS police series about five members of the Missings Persosn Task Force investigating mysterious disappearances.

“MPU” is the first Belgian police series EVER sold to the Middle East. “MPU” wil be broadcast soon in a.o. Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt,…

Michel Daemen -CRAZY COW, commented : “This sale to the Middle East follows previous deals with Czech Republic (Tv Barrandov), France (M6), French-speaking Belgium (Be TV), Canada (Series+),… We see that all these channels believe for 100% in the high potential of “MPU” because they all decided to buy directly SEASON 1 as well as SEASON 2 and moreover it’s the first time they all buy a Belgian police series”.

‘MPU” was already the first Belgian police series EVER sold to France, Canada,… CRAZY COW is now negotiating with several Russian channels, and in talks with a.o. Italy and Spain. CRAZY COW will annouce new deals for “MPU” in the next weeks.

Superb cast, well written scripts as well as well written characters, and a great direction : “MPU-Missing Persons Unit’ is as good as an American movie/series, but with an European touch !
