The French network Planete has launched the Canadian program “True Pulp Murder” (13 x 30′). The program is now broadcast every Wednesday in prime-time.
This crime series is produced by Make Believe Media Inc (Lynn Booth) for Canadian networks Global, Court TV, and Mystery.
CRAZY COW has inked a license agreement with the French private channel M6, which has acquired the rights to “MPU-Missing Persons Unit’ (original Belgian title = “Vermist”) , the EYEWORKS police series about five members of the Missings Persons Task Force investigating mysterious disappearances.
“MPU” is the first Belgian police series EVER sold in France !!!

M6 (part of RTL Group) is, after TF1, the biggest commercial network in France. M6 broadcast the best American series (”Desperate housewives”, “Prison Break”, “NCIS”, “The 4400), entertainment (French “Idol”), magazines and movies.
M6 bought directly the movie (1 x 90′) , SEASON 1 (9 x 50′) and also SEASON 2 (10 X 50′ /shooting now). The series will be dubbed in French and broadcast in a few months in prime-time or second prime-time on M6.

“MPU” was already sold to Czech Republic, and several countries are also interested in the police series. CRAZY COW will announce new deals for “MPU” in the next weeks.
CRAZY COW has inked a deal with French production company Project Images Films for the distribution of the REMAKE rights (=scripted format) of the youth series “VICE VERSA” (26 x 26′) and “DEJA VU″ (26 x 26′).
Both series are broadcast on FRANCE 2 with huge ratings on teen audiences.
CRAZY COW will launch “VICE VERSA” and “DEJA VU″ at Mipcom.
Season 3 of the Dutch police series “Vanished” (”Spoorloos Verdwenen”) launched yesterday (Thursday September 4) in prime-time on the Dutch Tv-station NEDERLAND 1.
Almost 1 million viewers (957 000 viewers : 16,2% Market Share) followed the specialized police team, fully commited in tracking down people who have been reported missing!
VTM, the leading commercial TV channel in Belgium, starts today with the broadcasting of the 4th Season of the Belgian police series “CITY DISTRICT” (= “ZONE STAD” / 52 x 50′).
CITY DISTRICT is set in Antwerp and its authenticity distinguishes it from other police series. Not a single case, but various stories interwoven.
