“Bad Karma” (40 x 30’) received an AWARD for BEST COMEDY SCRIPT at the last Gemini Awards. The successful comedy series received also a nomination at the TV Fiction Festival in La Rochelle, in the Best International Fiction category.
“Bad Karma » (27 x 30’), is available as “ready made” (to be dubbed/subtitled) or as “Scripted format” (= remake).
CRAZY COW has inked a licence agreement with VTM (largest comercial Tv station in Belgium), which has acquired the rights to Season 6 of “Take this house & sell it”.
The program will launch in February in Belgium.
The Canadian series “Sophie” (32 x 30) is now broadcast on the Russian channel Foxlife, and also on Fox in teh Benelux.

Radio-Canada has just announced that the 2nd season of “Mirador”(20 x 50’) will launch on September 13th in prime-time.

The Belgian police series CITY DISTRICT (78 x 50′) has been nominated for the 49th Monte Carlo Festival taking place from 7-11 June 2009.
Christian Vervaet, Lies Lahousse and Philippe Bonamie have received nominations in the Outstanding International Producer (Drama) and Outstanding European Producer (Drama) categories. For Outstanding Actor (Drama) , Guy Van Sande and Peter Van Asbroeck are up for the award, while Lien Van de Kelder and Katrien Vandendries are nominated in the Outstanding Actress Category.
The Belgian channel broadcasting CITY DISTRICT (VTM) has just commissionned 2 new seasons. Shooting of Season 5 will start in June in Antwerp.
Eyeworks movie “MPU-Missing Persons Unit” (original title “Vermist), released in Belgian theatres on October 31, had the strongest opening weekend of any Belgian movie during the last 10 years. ”MPU” was released on 36 copies in Flanders and Brussels and is the clear number one in Flanders with more than 60.000 visitors. Although the movie was not released in the French speaking part of Belgium, ”MPU” was also the best visited movie overall in Belgium.
“MPU”, directed by Jan Verheyen, tells the story of a disturbing disappearance of a young girl and how the Belgian Missing Persons Unit deals with it. The movie features a Belgian All Star cast including Koen De Bouw, Kevin Janssens, Joke Devynck, Stan Van Samang, Catherine Kools, Filip Peeters and Hilde Van Mieghem. The movie ”MPU” will be followed by a series of 9 episodes to be broadcasted next fall by SBS-channel VT4 in Belgium.
Production company Holland Harbour is shooting now in Rotterdam 10 new episodes of “Vanished” (“Spoorloos Verdwenen”), and Season 3 will be broadcast in January 2008 in prime-time on public network Nederland 1. Re runs of the Dutch police series are also airing now in Belgium, with Season 3 coming to Belgian screens in a few weeks.
