VANISHED (“Spoorloos Verdwenen”) sold to Czech republic !

CRAZY COW has inked a distribution agreement with the Czech private channel TV Barrandov, which has acquired the rights to “Vanished’ (original title = “Spoorloos Verdwenen”) , the Dutch series about a specialized police team, fully committed in tracking down people who have been reported missing.

Jana Porybna – TV Barrandov’s Head of Acquisitions, commented : “Vanished is a good crime series, we liked the script , the actors. The series is full of action, but no violent, which is perfect for our weekday EFR slot. It will be scheduled from September, 2008 and stripped from Monday till Friday”.

TV Barrandov bought directly ALL (33) episodes (that is to say Seasons 1, 2 and 3).

Michel Daemen – CRAZY COW, added : “. “We are thrilled to announce this deal with TV Barandov and to start a long-standing collaboration with this new network. We are sure that our Dutch police series will be as successfull in Czech republic as in its original market”.

Canada, France, Hungary, Slovakia, Italy, Russia… are also intersted in the Dutch police series. Season 3 of Vanished-Spoorloos Verdwenen will launch in a few weeks in prime-time on the Dutch public television.

More than 170 000 vistitors for”MPU -Missing Persons Unit” !

Eyeworks movie “MPU-Missing Persons Unit” (original title “Vermist), released in Belgian theatres on October 31, has already attracted more than 170.000 visitors. We can talk about a huge succes, especially for a market of only six million people (Dutch-speaking Belgium / the movie was not released in the French speaking part of Belgium) !

“MPU”, directed by Jan Verheyen, tells the story of a disturbing disappearance of a young girl and how the Belgian Missing Persons Unit deals with it.

“Webdreams” soon on PLUG TV (Belgium)

The Belgian network PLUG TV (part of RTL Belgium) will launch the Canadian program “Webdreams” (Galafilm) on December 27th 2007.

Each episode of this hot documentary series streams in and out of the personal and professional lives of a group of young performers and entrepreneurs as they try to make it big in the online adult entertainment industry.

CRAZY COW has inked a license agreement for ALL episodes available. PLUG TV bought directly Season 1 (10 x 23′) as well as Season 2 (12 x 23′) and will broadcast the program every Thursday at 10pm. “Webdreams” airs now also every Friday on Showcase.
