CRAZY COW is now working with WARNER BROS on the American remake of the French series “Jeff & Leo, cops and twins”.

WARNER BROS is the producer of “Friends”, “Nip/Tuck”, “The Mentalist”, “The Closer”, “Pushing Daisies”, “Without a trace”, “Cold Case”, “ER”,…

CRAZY COW retains the Format rights outside of the US, and CRAZY COW is already negociating with several European countries, for a local REMAKE.

« Sisters De Wit » (37 x 50’ /produced by Eyeworks & broadcast on NET5) is drama series following the young and beautiful sisters De Wit, who manage to conquer a high place in the dairy industry – in their very own, very feminine but powerful way. They are, so to speak, the Dutch Charlie’s Angels!

While the average market share of NET5 is 5,3%, « Sisters De Wit » (37 x 50’) is able to reach :

31,8 % on the target Women 20-49 years old (vs 5,3% for NET5)

21,4 % on the target Upper Classes 20-49 years old (vs 5,3% for NET5)

22,4 % on the target Principal Buyers 20-49 years old (vs 5,3% for NET5)

CRAZY COW now working with Endemol on the remake of “A Ferrari for 2″ (TF1)

CRAZY COW is now working with ENDEMOL (http://www.endemol.com )on the REMAKE of the French comedy movie « A Ferrari for 2 » for Germany.

For about eighteen years, Mark has been living together with Karen and their two children, Martin and Hanna. As a successful architect, Mark is often out on business, and Karen sees no reason to worry. But Mark spends his absence with Nina, a young and attractive career woman with whom he has been sharing a loft for over eighteen months. Almost a year ago, Mark and Nina even married. Nina is unaware that Mark is having a girlfriend and two children elsewhere, and, just like Karen, thinks she is the only woman in his life. When Mark dies in a fatal accident on a construction site, Karen and Nina are horrified to discover that Mark had been deceiving them for years. And yet, both women are initially angry with each other rather than with him. Mark’s death puts Karen and Nina into an awkward position. Who is entitled to what? Who can claim the wife’s place at the funeral? After the funeral, both women will have to start a life without Mark. They will have to give their life a new turn and find their way by trial and error.

« Double Life » (13 x 50’ / available as Finished Program OR as Scripted Format-REMAKE) is a new drama series from Eyeworks broadcast on VRT (largest TV station in Belgium). The subject is clear of interest to people/viewers if you for example just see the case of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s double life and the massive amount of media attention to this case all over the world and to other cases of persons having a double life.

« Double Life » (13 x 50’) had an AVERAGE of 1,4 million viewers and 46,2 % Market Share (the second episode had even 50,9% Market Share !!!!). All this in a market of only 6 million people (=Dutch-speaking Belgium).

Award for BEST COMEDY SCRIPT for “BAD KARMA”(27 x 30′) / Third Season commissionned !!!

CRAZY COW is proud to announce that the series “Bad Karma” (27 x 30’) received an AWARD for BEST COMEDY SCRIPT at the last Gemini Awards. The successful comedy series received also a nomination at the TV Fiction Festival in La Rochelle, in the Best International Fiction category.

The series a big success on Radio-Canada : 25% of the viewers watched in average Season 1. “Bad Karma » (27 x 30’)is written by Isabelle Langlois and produced by Sphère (« Sophie », « Les hauts et les bas de Sophie Paquin »,..)

Season 2 is now broadcacast every Wednesday in PRIME-TIME and Radio-Canada has also already commissionned a THIRD season of “Bad Karma » (27 x 30’): we will have soon 40 episodes/scripts of 30 min available.

Season 3 of “MPU -Missing Persons Unit” to launch in November in Belgium

CRAZY COW is proud to announce that Season 3 of “MPU-Missing Persons Unit” (1 x 90’ + 39 x 50’), the EYEWORKS police series about a team looking for missing persons , will launch on November 3rd in PRIME-TIME on the Belgian TV station VT4 (http://www.vt4.be/ ).

The network (VT4) has already also commissioned a 4th Season (10 episodes) : 20 new episodes are now available !!!

The police series is like an AMERICAN SERIES (it’s developped by US Script Editor MATT WITTEN) and is a BIG SUCCESS on VT4.

While the average market share of VT4 is 7,9%, the last episode of « MPU » was for example able to reach :

30 % on the target 15-44 years old (vs 7,9% for VT4)

28,3 % on the target Buyers 18-44 years old (vs 7,9% for VT4)

28,6 % on the target Women 20-49 years old (vs 7,9% for VT4)

As of today, the series is sold to more than 40 countries (France, Germany, Canada, Russia, Middle East,..) !!!

Superb cast, well written scripts as well as well written characters, and a great direction : “MPU-Missing Persons Unit’ is as good as an American series, but with a European touch !

32% SHR for “Burying Brian” (6 x 50′) in the target 25-54-year olds

« Rembrandt & I » (4 x 50’) is a great success in the Netherlands : the large historical biography of Dutch painter Rembrandt had in PRIME-TIME an AVERAGE of 1,2 million viewers and 24,6 % Market Share on the Dutch public broadcaster NEDERLAND 1.

Did you you know that the producer of this series (Hans de Weers ) was coproducer of the American blockbuster ALEXANDER ( directed by Oliver Stone and starring Colin Farrell, Angelina Jolie, Anthony Hopkins, Val Kilmer)? He was also coproducer of the feature film MINDHUNTERS (starring Val Kilmer and Christian Slater). Finally, he line-produced a substantial part of blockbuster Ocean’s Twelve (starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon).

The producer of « Rembrandt & I » also won a lot of prices with its Dutch movies, a.o the Oscar of the Best Foreign Movie for ANTONIA’S LINE.

ANTONIA’S LINE was directed by Marleen Gooris , who directed many movies, one episode of the US series « The L World », and so also « Rembrandt & I » (4 x 50’).

The shooting of the 6th Season of the EYEWORKS police series « Cops Maastricht » (63 x 50’), has started in the Netherlands. The 10 new episodes wil be broadcast next year in prime-time.

The police series is a BIG SUCCESS on Dutch network Nederland 1 : the last season (=Season 5) of « Cops Maastricht » was for example able to reach in average 1,8 million viewers (one episode attracted even nearly 2 million viewers and 25% market share / in a market of only 16 million people !).

« Cops Maastricht » is also broadcast in the Middle East, in Belgium (VRT) and on Berlusconi’s Mediaset (Italian title = Flikken – Coppia in giallo)..
